About the Role
We are looking for a remote Psychiatrist who specializes in the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of mental health disorders through virtual consultations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Virtual Consultations: Conducting online sessions with patients to assess, diagnose, and treat mental health conditions.
- Medication Management: Prescribing and managing medications for patients remotely.
- Therapy and Counseling: Providing psychotherapy and counseling services to patients through video conferencing or phone calls.
- Patient Evaluation: Assessing patients' mental health needs and developing treatment plans.
- Collaboration with Healthcare Teams: Working with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
- Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records.
Requirements
Must be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta (CPSA).
Strong commitment to patient care and collaborative practice.
